Fishing Fluke
Fluke will bury themselves in the mud or sand with only their eyes exposed facing into the tide ready to ambush their prey. Fluke are usually found around structure, drop offs, holes, sandbars or any other irregular bottom.
Fluke taste:
The Summer Flounder or Fluke flesh is white, very mild, delicate in flavor and texture. It is considered an excellent eating fish, especially for people who don't like their fish to taste much like fish.
The Halfback with Captain Art have been fishing the waters around Montauk since 1990.
